On May 6th, Prof. Marica Branchesi from the Gran Sasso Science Institute, INFN, INAF, and ASI delivered a compelling talk at the online EVN seminar. Her presentation traced the remarkable evolution of multi-messenger astronomy, highlighting its early groundbreaking detections and the transformative impact it has had across various domains of physics.
She also explored how the ACME project facilitates access to major multi-messenger infrastructures, data analysis tools, and theoretical expertise, enabling the full exploitation of multi-messenger observations and maximizing their scientific return. The seminar was attended by more than 100 participants, with questions ranging from the gravitational wave experiments to the ACME project.
