Venue & Accomodation

The school will be hosted by ASTRON and JIVE.

 

The participants will be accommodated at the hotel de Borken (http://www.hoteldeborken.nl) in the nearby town of Dwingeloo. They will be sharing double rooms. At the moment of the booking, please indicate whether you would like to share the room with a specific participant of the school.
Participants are expected to arrive on Sunday 18 September and leave on Friday 23 September. We will provide bikes to allow you to reach ASTRON and JIVE from the hotel. Directions to the host institutes are reported in the map below. Alternative transportation will be made available for those people unable to cycle and/or walk. In this case, please let us know by contacting us at eris2022@jive.eu.

 

The registration fee is 180 euro. It will cover the accommodation and half board for the 5 days of the school. Methods of payment will be made available soon.

 

Hotel reservation

In addition to registering to participate to the school, you should make your own room booking at Hotel de Borken. A block reservation has been made at the hotel. While making the hotel room reservation, please refer to the code ERIS2022.
To keep easier track of ERIS related bookings, you are asked not to make an online reservation, but reserve a hotel room only in one of the following ways:

At the moment of the booking, please indicate whether you would like to share the room with a specific participant of the school. More information about the hotel http://www.hoteldeborken.nl/en/. Any room reservation outside the period September 18 to 23 must be paid by the participant. Note that the hotel has a swimming pool. Bring your swimsuit with you in case you would like to use this facility. 

 

If you need a visa to enter the Netherlands, please start the application process as soon as possible. We can provide you with an invitation letter if you need one. In such a case, please contact us at eris2022@jive.eu.
