General information

As part of its mission to make Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) more accessible, JIVE has committed to develop a toolkit for VLBI data processing in the CASA package. This development is now reaching a point where we would like to invite users to come and test the tools on a dataset of their choice, and provide us with feedback and wishes for future functionality.

Registration for the workshop has now closed. Participants represent a range of different VLBI instruments and will apply the new CASA tools on observations of the instrument with which they are most familiar.

This workshop is made possible thanks to funding from RadioNet. Thanks to their support we can offer the workshop free of charge, including all coffee, tea and lunches. There is limited financial compensation for participants without home institute funding. If you require support, please contact secretary@jive.eu providing a budget and half page motivation for your request.

JIVE offers a social dinner on Wednesday evening.

This event has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 730562 [RadioNet]. This work is made possible from funding by BlackHoleCam, SKA-NL and the RadioNet RINGS project.
